Hi,

You first have to compute the coordinate list of receivers at 1m of each facade. You will have a table like this:

```sql

CREATE TABLE RECEIVERS( GID SERIAL,THE_GEOM POINT, BUILDING_ID INT)

```

The function [br_ptgrid3d](https://github.com/irstv/noisemap/wiki/3-SQL-functions#br_ptgrid3d) compute the sound propagation at specified receiver point. This function does not generate a noise map but in generate a noise level for each receiver point.

Using this you can accurately compute the noise exposition of the population.

It is technically possible to [generate a vertical noise map](https://github.com/irstv/noisemap/wiki/8-Vertical-noise-map) on each building's walls then [export it into a PLY 3d format](https://github.com/irstv/noisemap/wiki/6-dem-noisemap)]. However there is no demonstration script at the moment.
